Client: Municipality of Gaza.
Location: Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Arts and Crafts Village is a cultural centre for traditional Palestinian arts and crafts. Cultural events and art exhibitions are held there. The building, designed on a 1000 square meter area, consists of three floors.
Ground Floor Plan
The ground floor features an art gallery and craft shops, The building was designed with an interior courtyard, and green design principles were considered in its architectural design and systems. It incorporates natural ventilation and daylight, solar energy utilization, and a preference for local building materials. In addition, rainwater harvesting and injection, as well as the separation of greywater network.
while the first floor includes halls for artists and multipurpose rooms. Additionally, there is a cafeteria and administration area. The basement floor contains a museum hall for displaying archaeological artifacts, as well as services and parking facilities.
